I am an artist and mother in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I am currently an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University. I received my BFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana -Champaign and my MFA at The New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred. I have taught at a variety of academic institutions including Massachusetts College of Art, The University of Georgia, VCU and UC- Davis as well as other alternative learning programs such as Arrowmont, Haystack and Anderson Ranch. I’ve resided, held exhibitions and traveled across the US, as well as internationally, and have spent time in both China and Mexico with LSU.
